申請の流れ – ご自身で申請をする場合 [お一人様]
ここでは、ESTA申請について、ご自身でのお一人様の場合野申請方法をご説明致します。
STEP 1-1
まず下記アドレスをクリックして、アメリカ合衆国の「電子渡航認証システム」ホームページへ行きます。
https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/
下記の「日本語」の部分をクリックして、表示を日本語に切り替えてください。
STEP 1-2
下記の「申請」ボタンをクリックして、ESTA申請を開始します。
STEP 1-3
記載されている内容に同意の上、「はい」をチェックして次にお進み下さい。

申請者情報の入力
すべての回答を英語（ローマ字）で入力してください。
必須項目は、赤の星印が付いています。＊
電子メールアドレスの記入は任意です。
ただしDHSは電子メールアドレスを入力する事を強く勧めています。
電話番号の記入は任意です。

パスポート情報の入力
必須項目は、赤の星印が付いています。＊
住所１にアメリカで滞在する場所の番地と通り名を入力してください。
この欄に都市名および州を入力しないでください。住所1の入力は任意です。
・正確な住所が分からない場合は、ホテル名または訪問地を入力してください
・アメリカを直ちに出国するため住所がない場合、「乗り継ぎ」と記入し、最終目的地を入力してください。
住所２に滞在予定の部屋番号、番地、階、ビル名、該当するその他の名称を記入してください。
この欄に都市名および州を入力しないでください。住所行(2)の記入は任意です。
・都市にアメリカで滞在予定の都市名を入力してください。都市名は申請書作成の際の任意項目です。
・州にアメリカで滞在予定都市のある州を入力してください。州は申請書作成の際の任意項目です。

Enter the number and street of the location where you will stay while in the United States.
Address Line 1 is optional to complete the application.
If a traveler destination address in the United States is unknown when he or she completes he application in ESTA for the travel authorization, the traveler should enter the name of the hotel or approximate location he or she intends to visit.
If you are leaving the United States immediately and do not have an address, enter the words “In Transit” and your final destination location.
Enter apartment, suite, unit, floor, building, or other, if appropriate.
Address Line 2 is optional to complete the application.
Enter the city of the address where you will stay while in the United States.
Enter the state of the address where you will stay while in the United States.

STEP 2

訂正する場合、（戻る）ボタンを選択して申請書に戻ります。

再度入力に誤りがないか確認してください。誤りがなければもう一度、パスポート番号・姓・国籍のある国・生年月日を入力します。
STEP 3
DHSは、渡航者に渡航認証申請番号の控えおよびESTAの状況の確認用として、渡航認証申請書の返答を印刷することを勧めています。
However, DHS recommends that travelers print out the travel authorization application response in order to maintain a record of their traveler authorization application number and to have confirmation of their ESTA status.
STEP 4
支払い
電子渡航認証（ESTA：エスタ）申請に対するすべての支払いはクレジットカードで行う必要があります。
ESTAシステムは、現在、以下のクレジットカードのみを受け付けています。MasterCard、VISA、American ExpressおよびDiscover (JCB, Diners Club)。

The ESTA system currently accepts only the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover (JCB, Diners Club).
STEP 5
申請状況を表示する。
多くの場合、電子渡航認証（ESTA：エスタ）システムは、申請状況を即座に回答します。
電子渡航認証（ESTA：エスタ）の処理に時間が必要な場合、回答は通常72時間以内に返送されます。
In most cases the Electronic System for Travel Authorization will return an Application Status immediately.
In cases where more time is needed to process an electronic travel authorization application, an answer will be usually returned within 72 hours.
アメリカに短期商用・観光目的※1で旅行するすべての渡航者は、オンラインで渡航認証※2を受けなければなりません。
※1 短期商用・観光目的 = 90日以下
※2 電子渡航認証 = エスタ : Electronic System for Travel Authorization = ESTA
